ARLENE SINOW Arlene Sinow, 68, of Manilla died Sunday, March 5, 1989, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Omaha where she was being treated for a heart ailment.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Ohde Funeral Home in Manilla with the Rev Frank Christ officiating. Burial will be in Nishnabotna Cemetery in Crawford County. Visitation is after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

She is survived by her husband, Henry "Hank," a son, Russell; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one brother, Glen Jensen of Manning; and five sisters, Joyce Schroeder of Manning, Donna Hansen of Manilla, Ellen Rasmussen of Manilla, Phyllis Campbell of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Janice Ferry of Schleswig.

Sinow was born April 24, 1920, near Manning, the daughter of Fred and Florence (Sander) Jensen. She graduated from Manning High School in 1938 and was married June 30, 1941. She and her husband moved to the Manilla area six years ago.
