MRS. ANNA ZURN The funeral mass for Mrs. Anna Zurn, 86, will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church, Manning, by the Rev. Michael Vasti. Burial will take place in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Rosaries will be recited at the Ohde Funeral Home at 8 p.m. Monday, led by Fr. Vasti, and at 8:30 p.m. by the Sacred Heart Altar Society.

Mrs. Zurn died Sunday, December 3, 1967, at Manning General Hospital, which she had entered November 5. She had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Anthony (Dorothy) Venner of Manning for about the last year and one-half after she suffered a broken hip.

She was born April 9, 1881, near Halbur, the daughter of Peter J. and Theresia (Buchholz) Olbertz. She was married November 14, 1917, to Henry Zurn and they lived near Halbur and Manning until they moved into Manning in 1955. Mr. Zurn died January 19, 1959, and she had continued to reside in Manning.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters. Survivors, besides her daughter, are three grandchildren, Eugene, Janet, and Ronald Venner.
