Mrs. Wright was born on November 30, 1862, at Williamsport, Pennsylvania, daughter of Andrew and Sarah (Shearer) Henninger. She came to Davenport with her parents in 1869. She married Albert Lincoln Wright on December 29, 1886. She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist.
Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Nadin Haines and Mrs. Eloise Dyer of Davenport, and Mrs. Viola Madison of York, Nebraska; one son, Philip of Davenport; three sisters, Martha (Mrs. J.F.) Wright and Mrs. Augusta Newburn of Detroit, and Emma (Mrs. A.F.) Corbyn of Lincoln, Nebraska, and five grandchildren.
One son, Ira, preceded her in death 12 years ago.
The body was taken to the M.V. Boles Co. Mortuary pending funeral arrangements.
Burial was in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport.

While in Manning he was a carpenter.
He is buried with his wife in Davenport.
