Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 31, at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning with the Rev. George Spencer, pastor of Merrill's Grove Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery at Irwin.
Mrs. Wooster is survived by her husband Charles, a resident of the Manning Plaza Nursing Home; three children: Richard Wooster and his wife Vivian, rural Manning; Mrs. Clyde (Betty) Thomson, rural Manilla, and Charles Wooster, Jr., and his wife Joanne, rural Manilla; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and a brother Thorvald Fossel, Stord, Norway.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson James Thomson, four sisters and four brothers.
Mrs. Wooster was born May 4, 1893, at Aarvik, Norway, a daughter of Tjaden and Guro (Nielsdatter) Fossel. She came to the United States in 1915. On October 1, 1919, she was married to Charles H. Wooster at Council Bluffs. They farmed the home place seven miles south of Manning.
She was a charter member of the Pleasant Valley Church, a member of the Irwin American Legion Auxiliary, and the Merrill's Grove Baptist Church. She entered the nursing home about a year ago.
