Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, with interment in Hayes Township Cemetery. The Rev. Victor Hoyer, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Manilla, will officiate. Friends may call at the Ohde Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Friday.
Mrs. Wiese was born at Colon, Nebraska, a daughter of Simon and Margaret Rosengreen, and attended rural school. Her marriage to Walter Wiese took place June 3, 1914, and they farmed south of Westside until moving to Des Moines in 1950.
Following her husband's death in 1954, Mrs. Wiese continued to reside in Des Moines until moving to Littleton to live with her daughter in 1962. She had been in failing health for several months.
Mrs. Wiese is survived by five children, including Kenneth of Story City, Forrest of Arcadia, Warren of Manilla, Mrs. James (Loretta) Arduser of Littleton, and Mrs. Thomas (Lorraine) Wattley of Chicago, Illinois; also 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a sister, Agnes Rosengreen of Littleton; and a brother, Orion Rosengreen of Wahoo, Nebraska.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, two grandchildren and two sisters.
