MRS. ANNA STUHR
Mrs. Anna Stuhr, 85, died Monday morning, December 16, 1963, at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Otto, in Manning. She had been a semi-invalid for 2 1/2 years.

Her funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ohde Funeral Home, with burial in Manning Cemetery. The Rev. Lester Moore will officiate. Friends may call at Ohde Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Stuhr was born January 16, 1878, in Hayes Township, a daughter of August and Trinke (Ehrichs) Hansen. As a young woman, she came to Manning with her family, and on May 5, 1908, she married Henry C. Stuhr. They farmed in Audubon County until 1916, when they moved to Botna. Mr. Stuhr died June 27, 1950, and Mrs. Stuhr moved to Manning in 1952, and lived with her daughter, Mrs. Otto.

Surviving is her daughter, Mrs. Otto (Viola) two grandchildren, Mrs. Billie (Marlene) Hargens, Perry, and Merlin Otto, Manning; and two great-grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Hargens and Michael Otto.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Stuhr was preceded in death by two infant sons, one brother, John Hansen, and three sisters, Maggie Hansen, Mrs. Henry (Mary) Mundt, and Mrs. John (Emma) Pencker.
