MRS. ANNA STAMMER
Mrs. Anna Caroline Stammer, 89, of Elk Horn, formerly of Manning, died Friday morning, July 30, 1971, at the Salem Home, Elk Horn, where she had resided for the last nine years.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ohde Funeral Home here, with burial in the Manning Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Rushing, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Music will be provided by Craig Ruhde, vocalist, and Mrs. Bonita Hagedorn, organist. Friends may call at Ohde's after 7 p.m. Saturday.

Mrs. Stammer was born near Schleswig June 12, 1882, a daughter of Herman and Anna (Holling) Heicksen.

Following her graduation from Manilla High School in 1900, she taught at Iowa No. 1 rural school near Aspinwall.

She was married to John Stammer in 1904 and they farmed near Aspinwall. After his death in 1918, Mrs. Stammer moved to Manning. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church here.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lester (Caroline) Clark of Manning and Mrs. Sam (Eunice) Levine of Atlantic; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Stammer, 89, were held at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, Monday with burial in the Manning Cemetery.

Mrs. Stammer, who had lived for nine years at an Elkhorn Rest Home, died there Friday.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lester Clark, Manning; Mrs. Sam Levine, Atlantic; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
