MRS. ANNA MARNETTE
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Marnette, 84, of Coon Rapids will be held here Monday at 2 p.m. in the United Methodist Church. The Rev. James Buikema will officiate and burial will be in the Coon Rapids Cemetery, under direction of the Mason Funeral Home.

Mrs. Marnette, a longtime Coon Rapids resident, died October 8, 1970, at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll.

She was an employee for many years in the office of the Coon Rapids Utility Company and was the widow of Frank Marnette. Her only survivor is a son, Franklin Marnette, of Sacramento, California.

She was born September 8, 1886, at Wisch, Germany, a daughter of Henry and Grete (Lage) Goettsch, and came to the United States at the age of two years. Following her graduation from Manning High School in 1904, she attended Iowa State Teachers College (now the University of Northern Iowa) at Cedar Falls. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
