MRS. PAUL NEWMAN
Mrs. Paul Newman, 80, who lived on a farm southeast of Irwin, died at 12:30 p.m. Monday, September 12, 1955, at the Berry Nursing Home in Atlantic.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Ohde Funeral Home here. The Rev. Richard Rowe, minister of the Manilla Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Mrs. Newman is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Ehlers, Manning; and Mrs. Albin Hicks, Los Angeles, California; one sister, Mrs. Harry Clint, Sun Valley, California; two brothers, William Whitcher, Manning, and Reuben Whitcher, Gonzales, California; and four grandchildren.

The former Amelia Mae Whitcher, she was born April 12, 1875, at Salinas, California.

Four sisters and one brother are deceased.
