The Rev. Paul Bergmann, pastor of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church, Carroll, officiated at the rites. "In the Garden" and "Rock of Ages" were sung by a quartet composed of Ray Pratt, Clifford M. Johnson, Emma (Mrs. Albert) Dietz, and Mae (Mrs. N.C.) Schrum, accompanied by Mrs. Herbert Groteluschen.
Burial was in the Manning Cemetery. Pallbearers were William J. Kruse, Herman Jahn, William Schroeder, Henry Ewoldt, Herman Lamp, and Henry Kruse.
Mrs. Molter, the former Amanda Joens, was a daughter of John and Anna (Lemster) Joens. She was born April 28, 1889, in Crawford County, Iowa.
She was married to Mr. Molter January 29, 1908. They lived on a Crawford County farm for several years, moving to Manning later. For the past nine years, they have lived in Carroll.
Mrs. Molter is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Daniel (Goldie) Booth, Arcadia, and Mrs. Roscoe (Eunice) Fiscus, Carroll; five grandchildren; and three sisters: Mrs. Emma Lohrmann, Egan, South Dakota, who was unable to attend the services; Mrs. Laura Kruse, Manning, and Mrs. Elsie Schroeder, Manning.
Among out-of-town relatives at the services were: Roland Booth, stationed at San Diego, California; Mr. and Mrs. Everett Crow, and daughter, Henry Lohrmann and Mrs. Ray Willard, all of Egan, South Dakota.
