MRS. MELVIN WOLFE
Mrs. Melvin Wolfe, 42, of Manning, died at 9:45 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony Hospital, Carroll, where she had been admitted as a medical patient December 24. She succumbed to a long ill ness.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church here, with Pastor George B. Eschenbacher officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Mrs. Wolfe was born, Alva Anna Margaretha Jahn, daughter of the late J.F. William and Martha Jahn, April 30, 1913, in Hayes Township, Crawford County, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

She attended rural schools in Crawford County.

Her marriage to Melvin Wolfe took place November 21, 1936. They have lived in Manning since then.

Surviving with her husband are two brothers, Hugo Jahn, Manning; and Amos Jahn, Adair; and two sisters, Mrs. Milo (Bernice) Stammer and Mrs. Raymond (Ila) Grimm, both of Manning.
