MRS. JOHN MOLLER

Funeral services for Mrs. John (Alpha Adelia) Moller, 83, of Denison were held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning with Rev. Donald Jones, pastor of the United Methodist Church, Manning officiating.

Vocalist was Mrs. Judy Joens with Mrs. Bonita Hagedorn, organist.

Pallbearers were Ralph Gehlsen, Louis Gehlsen, Reynold Gehlsen, Leonard Gehlsen, Raymond Gehlsen, and Edward Meyers. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery under the direction of the Ohde Funeral Home, Manning.

Mrs. Moller, daughter of Herman and Laura (Sievers) Jahn, was born on August 2, 1894, in Hayes Township, Crawford County, Iowa. She attended rural schools near her home. Her marriage to John Moller took place on December 20, 1916. They farmed three miles north of Manning until 1933 when they moved to Okoboji. Her husband died December 23, 1965, and she continued to make her home in Okoboji until moving to Denison about three years ago.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Pauline Gehlsen of Westside, and two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Katie Sander of Elk Horn, and Mrs. Henrietta Petersen of Clinton, nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Moller died Friday evening, December 9, 1977, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison.
