Manning - Funeral services for Alma Puck, 94, of Carroll,
formerly of Manning, will be Thursday, December 3, 1987, at 2 p.m. at the Ohde
Funeral Home in Manning. She died on Tuesday, December 1, at St. Anthony Nursing Home in Carroll.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Raymond Meester of the Presbyterian Church in Carroll.
Organist will be Mrs. Mike Davis and vocalist will be D.K. "Skip" Raridon.
Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be George Campbell, Charles Escher, Norman Nissen, Merlene Thompson, Herbert Bruhn, and Ray Christensen.
Mrs. Puck was born on May 12, 1893, at Manning, the daughter of Charles and Dora Kruse.
She attended the Manning schools.
On November 23, 1921, she married Herman Edward Puck, and they had one son, Waldo.
They farmed in Lincoln Township in Audubon County for many years, until her husband died in 1961. She soon moved to Carroll where she lived at the Parkview Apartments.
She lived independently until a year ago when she moved to the St. Anthony Nursing Home because of failing health.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Carroll.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and by a son, Waldo, in 1943.
