Funeral services Julius (Alice) Wehrmann held at 10 a.m. Monday morning, April 11, at Sacred Heart Church in Manning, with Rev. Thomas Molloy, officiating.

Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Nephews are pallbearers.

The body will be taken from the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning to the family home on Saturday afternoon at 3. The Rosary will be prayed there Saturday evening at 8:30 and Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Wehrmann was found dead at her home Thursday morning, April 7, 1960. She apparently had died early in the morning of a heart attack.

Daughter of Peter and Katherine (McGowan) Kane, she was born in 1891, and grew up in Scranton. Following graduation from Scranton High School, she came to Manning in 1912, where she was employed as a milliner by Hansen Brothers.

On November 29, 1919, she married Julius Wehrmann, Manning businessman, who died July 6, 1959. The couple lived in Manning since their marriage.

Mrs. Wehrmann was a member of Sacred Heart Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, and the Little Flower Study Club. Her social clubs were 50-50. Amigos, BAB, and Ugo-Igo.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Leonard (Edna) Murphy, Boone; a niece, Mrs. James F. Murphy, Boone; and other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers and eight sisters.
