ALICE MOORE

Funeral services for Alice Moore were held Wednesday, Nov. 16, 1977, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church at Manning with the Rev. Donald Jones officiating. Judy Joens was vocalist and Mrs. Dorothy Kusel organist. Interment was in the Manning Cemetery with Art Kuhn, Dave Kuhn, Glen Brady, Lewis Hagedorn, Clarence Bowers and Leslie Doyel as casketbearers.

Alice, daughter of Tom and Lucy Lamer McKeever, was born March 17, 1907 at Marne, Ia. She attended rural schools in the Marne and Kirkman areas. She and Clinton Moore were married on December 20, 1926. They farmed in the Botna and Manning area and retired to Manning 3 years ago.

Mrs. Moore passed away Nov. 13, 1977, at the Schoitz Memorial Hospital at Waterloo, Iowa at the age of 70 years, 7 months and 26 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one granddaughter and one son-in-law.
She is survived by her husband; 2 sons and one daughter, Edward of Waterloo, Mrs. Dorothy Strosahl of Manning, and Robert of Carroll; ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Thelma Caldwell of California.

She was a member of the Methodist Church and was active in the United Methodist Women's Organization, and a charter member of the Friendly Hour Club.
