ALFRED NULLE
Funeral services for Alfred Nulle were held Thursday, November 15, 1979, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning. Officiating was the Rev. Joel Wright, First Presbyterian Church, Manning. Organist was the Rev. Carl Sinning, and vocalist was Mrs. Judy Joens. Interment was in Manning Cemetery with Robert Tank, Clifford Tank, Ivan Joens, Lester Joens, Gary Schroeder, and Bill Opperman as casketbearers. Ohde Funeral Home in Manning was in charge of arrangements.

Alfred, son of William and Anna (Hass) Nulle, was born June 21, 1897, in Iowa Township, Crawford County, Iowa. He attended the country schools near his home. He was united in marriage with Anita Schroeder on December 22, 1920, in Carroll. They farmed in Iowa Township until retiring to Manning in 1964. They made their home at 103 May Street. Alfred and Anita would have been married 59 years next month.

Alfred had been hospitalized about one month. He passed away at the Manning General Hospital on Tuesday, November 13, 1979, at the age of 82 years, 4 months, and 22 days.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Donna, a grandson, Duane, and a sister, Melinda (Mrs. Emil Steen).

He is survived by his wife, Anita, by one son, Wesley of Manning, and his wife, Rose Ann; three grandchildren, Mark of Moorcroft, Wyoming, Theresa and Lynn at home; as well as by many nieces, nephews, cousins and otherrelatives and friends.
