Alfred J. Nissen
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Zion Lutheran Church here for Alfred Johannes Nissen, 61, who died Thursday at the Carroll Hospital.

He had been hospitalized 11 days.

Pastor George B. Eschenbacher conducted rites, with burial in Manning Cemetery. Ohde Funeral Home was in charge.

The Nissens had lived on a farm north of Manning for 23 years.

Surviving are his widow, two sons: Orlo and Melvin, and a daughter, Mrs. Eldis Weems, all of Manning; three sisters: Mrs. Alma Schroeder of Aspinwall, Mrs. Rose Gordon, and Miss Minnie Nissen of Fairmont, Minnesota; and three brothers. George, John, and Charles Nissen of Manning.

Alfred Nissen is buried in the Manning City Cemetery.
