Funeral services for Adolph Puck were held Monday, October 2, 1978, at the Ohde Funeral Home at , Manilla at 2 p.m. with Pastor Victor Hoyer of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Manilla officiating. Soloist was Carol Segebart, and organist was Mildred Wenzel. Interment was in Nishnabotna Cemetery at Manilla with Loren Ferry, Carl Mahnke, Gilbert Mundt, Francis Mesenbrink, Laverne Jurgensen and Henry Schroeder as casketbearers. Ohde Funeral Home in Manilla was in charge of arrangements.

Adolph, son of William and Margaretha (Joens) Puck was born October 22, 1903, Audubon County, south of Manning. He was united in marriage on January 25, 1928, with Elsie Musfeldt.

They farmed five years in Audubon County and in 1933 moved northwest of Manilla where they farmed for 34 years. In 1967 they moved to the town of Manilla where Adolph then worked for Dr. Boyd Merrick for several years. He passed away Saturday, September 28, 1978, at the Manilla Manor Nursing Home at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 6 days.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, Pete George, Harry and Bernhard and 3 sisters, Laura Puck, Frieda Berkheimer and Alvina Ewoldt.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie, and by the following brothers and sisters: Albert Puck of Denison; Bill Puck, Ed Puck, Mrs. Minnie Clausen, Ella and Maggie Puck, all of Manning; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
