MRS. HUGO SCHRUM
Funeral services for Mrs. Hugo Schrum, 61, of Manning will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Zion Lutheran Church here. Mrs. Schrum became ill August 19 and entered Manning General Hospital, where she died Thursday morning, August 31, 1967.

The Rev. Edward F. Heinicke will officiate at the rites. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Mrs. Schrum was the former Adelaide Wiese. A daughter of Dethlef and Alma (Kruetzfeldt) Wiese, she was born July 12, 1905, in Crawford County and attended rural schools. Her marriage to Mr. Schrum took place at Carroll September 19, 1923. They farmed near Manning until moving into town in 1929.

For the past 18 years she had been employed by Manning General Hospital and the Anderson Clinic.

Surviving are her husband; four children, Mrs. Harry (Dorothea) Musfeldt, Manning; Mrs. Wendell (Norma) Luetje, Westside; Roy, at home; and Mrs. Peter (Margaret) Thielen, Jr., Carroll; 14 grandchildren, a great-grandson; three sisters, Mrs. Lloyd (Viola) Dozark and Mrs. Lester (Vera) Morton, Vail, and Mrs. Ila Crampton, Omaha; and ten brothers, Leslie Wiese, Manning; George Wiese, Charter Oak; Raymond, Elmer, Alvin, Wilmer, and Donald Wiese, Vail; Leonard Wiese, Omaha; Clarence Wiese, Denison; and Emil Wiese, Arcadia.
