Ella Allison

Ella passed away in Loveland, Colorado, September 13, 1973. Ella Katherine Ellison, survived by her nephew and his wife, Robert and Fern Allison of Aptos. Also surviving are other nephews and nieces throughout the country. A brother, Albert J. Koester, of Loveland, Colorado; native of Aspinwall, Iowa, aged 77 years.
Graveside services will be conducted at Oakwood Memorial Park on Paul Sweet Road, Santa Cruz, Monday September 17, 1973, at 10:30 a.m., with the Reverend Charles Hampton of First Baptist Church of Capitola, officiating.
Friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment in the family plot in Oakwood Memorial Park.

Notes: Ella is the daughter of John and Minnie (Kraack) Koester.
Her husband: Leonard Allison, a native of Delphos, Kansas.
Both Ella & Leonard moved to South Dakota, where they met and married in November 16, 1916.
Her siblings: Albert Koester, Clara Housman, Hilda Gutz, Gus Koester, William Koester, Rudolph Koester.

They've Reached 50th Milestone
Relatives and friends surprised Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Alison on their golden wedding anniversary with an open house at the home of their nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Johnson of Santa Cruz.
Co-hosts for the party, which included a buffet, were another niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Allison of Aptos.
Out-of-town relatives and friends came from Lakewood, Garden Grove, Fresno, Firebaugh, Dos Palos, and Santa Clara.
The Allisons have made their home in Capitols at 112 North 48th Avenue since they retired from ranching in Dos Palos in 1956.
He is a native of Delphos, Kansas, and his wife, the former Ella Kay Koester, was born in Manning, Iowa. Both moved to South Dakota where they met and were married November 16, 1916.
For number of years they ranched in South Dakota and then returned to Kansas. They came to California in 1937 buying their ranch near Dos Palos in Fresno County.
Both are members of the Capitola First Baptist Church.
