Note from Dave Kusel about Gregory Tidd:
I've never met Greg and only met Patricia (Ehrichs) once in 1998, as I recall.
Tricia is the daughter of Brian & Laura Ehrichs, granddaughter of Gene & Pat Ehrichs, and great-granddaughter
of Louie & Clara Ehrichs.
"Tricia" e-mailed me several years ago and we started sharing family pictures and history and recently she informed mother and myself about the passing of Greg.
Since her husband was not from this area, I don't have any of his family history or pictures to share but wanted to show Ehrichs pictures for other Ehrichs relatives
who may not know who Tricia is.
As you'll see, time, distance, and death of relatives have separated the once HUGE Ehrichs family that started in 1873 in Aspinwall, Iowa.
Most of us have lost that connection to our Pioneer ancestors for various reasons, so I'll attempt to help relatives make that connection again.
I have maintained a web page since 1996 and have attempted to stay in contact with as many relatives as possible to keep them updated on my various family connections.
If you have never contacted me and have old family pictures and history, I'd like to get those things to digitally scan and add to my database where it will be preserved long
after we are all gone.
If you see any errors in identification or spellings of names in this tribute to Greg and the Ehrichs family please e-mail me.
I am building a Manning/Aspinwall area database and want the most accurate information I can find.

Gregory Phillip Tidd
1985 - 2020
On July 5, 2020, after fighting cancer for five years,
Gregory Phillip Tidd, age 35, surrounded by his family and friends, peacefully
went home to be with the Lord. Greg is survived by his loving wife and best
friend Patricia Rose (Ehrichs) Tidd. Greg is also survived by his parents
George and Debra Tidd, his two brothers, George Tidd, III and Geoffrey Tidd, and many extended family members.
Greg was best known to all by his great sense of humor. He
proudly served as an MP in the Army National Guard. He also earned his Bachelor
of Science Degree in Information Technology and worked for many years at
Comcast. In his spare time, Greg loved watching Rockies baseball. Some of his
other hobbies included camping, many forms of art, chess, gaming and being
outscored by his wife at the gun range. But mostly he just loved to worship and serve the Lord.
We would like to especially thank all those who lovingly
cared for and supported Greg and his family during his battle with cancer,
including but not limited to, his team at Comcast, his care teams at CBCI, BMT
Presbyterian St. Lukes, Agape Hospice, the Dear Jack
Foundation, Small Choices, and many others too numerous to mention.
Greg's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July
18, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Crossroads Community Church in Parker, Colorado. In
lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Dear Jack Foundation in memory of Gregory P. Tidd.
Patricia is Brian Ehrichs daughter.
Gene Ehrichs granddaughter
Louie Ehrichs great-granddaughter
