Just found an old post of someone looking for Fred P. Nelson, b. 31 Oct 1889 Manning, Carrol, Iowa, father born Wisconsin.
I may have a relative in my husband's family, that maybe the same person.
Fred Peter Nelson, b. 18891890, son of Frederick F. Nelson and Jane Knudson. Frederick F. Nelson, born 1857 Grant Co., WI and died 1944 Calif. He md Jane N. Knudson 1882. She was born
1859 WI and died 1946 Calif.
They moved to Manning, IA and are listed on the 1885 state census. Most of Fred and Jane's children were born in Manning, by 1910 they are listed in Riverside Co., Calif.
