In the 1950s I worked for a summer installing the new telephone exchange. Stayed at the Manning Hotel they had a teenage daughter. Went shooting at the town dump for rats. Went flying at Atlantic, lunch every day either at the Manning or across the street. A young man "Charlie" (had a friend Norm) loaned me his car and arranged a date with a farm girl named Kay Conrad. |
