We got to Des Moines and were able to find the obituary of David Hamer in the Manning Monitor. They did not have the time period (missed it by three months!) of Eliza Cave Hamer's obituary. Do you know of anyone who would be interested in visitng the Monitor to look for the obituary of Eliza Hamer - died November 20, 1895? I would be glad to compensate whomever for their time.
