my daughter contacted me of your Manning work. My mother was dorothy parkhouse daughter of thomas and pearl. I have a lot of grandma pearls pictures and a ledger kept during business in Manning and Traer. I will search through them. Never threw anything away.

Well, it's now 28 years since I started my first web page.
I continue to plead for old family/Manning pictures, collections, and area history to scan, but sadly most of those collections are gone now and what is left is being discarded at an alarming rate.
I just received a collection I've been trying to get to scan since 2009 and sadly the country school pictures I know once existed in that collection were thrown away.
Why so many people/families insist on just throwing away our history and not let me go through it to scan is always amazing, but I'll keep working on history as long as I'm able to do so.
