I recently bought a house and it has an apple tree on it. I'm not an apple pie guy, but would love to know how to make apple cider. The apples that this tree produces are of green color and the meat of the apples are tart. At first I thought I might be picking them too green but if I let them go past this green color, they turn white and the meat is like mush. Can you tell me how to make apple cider even though I don't know what kind of apple I've got?
